This spring/ summer 2009 collection is a celebration to the creative people during the 60´s and 70´s that made a big impact on the art, film and music scene and who made the world much more interesting.
It’s a day to evening collection with a mix of leisure to sharp cutting attire, for a colorful and joyful lifestyle.
The influences are from different artistic movements from New York to Manchester and along came a look, a feeling and a desire to be part of something new.
The Essential part of this collection is graphic and playful, the base colors is white, red, black and with some highlights in pink and turquoise.
Resteröds philosophy is basics with a twist. We have been working with interpretation of old classic styles and the fabrics are crunchy, washed and threatened for that lived-in favorite feeling.
The signature pieces and silhouettes of this collection are short jackets, a leather bustier, voluminous knitted jumpers, slim dresses, oversized silk t-shirts, all in one pieces, woven cotton body suits and slim trousers marking a high waistline and with a shorter inseam length to show the ankles and your colorful socks. Womens underwear collection is working in a more feminine way and here we are introducing some new qualities working in harmony with the body.
The male silhouettes are showing baggy chinos denims, short chino shorts, graphic printed boxers, elongated vests, deep v-necks, ¾ sleeved sweaters, extra long shirts with button-off collar. Jacquard knitted and printed high buttoning cardigans and over dyed denims.
A good mix of leisure and sharp cutting attire that you can top of with my favorite piece, a unisex leather cap in washed lamb nappa.
We want Resteröds spring/ summer 2009 collection to inspire people to be slightly more colourful, playful, sensual, comfortable and good looking.
